"I've been a governor at Bacon Garth since 2009 and am currently Chair of Governors and I am on both the Leadership and Management and Curriculum committees.  Before I retired in 2016, I worked in the Education Inclusion Service in County Hall for 12 years.  I supported schools in the East Riding across all phases, offering advice and support when a pupil was at risk of, or had been, excluded.  My role also involved supporting pupils into a new setting after exclusion.  I worked with a wide range of agencies and professionals during my time in the Education Inclusion Service and I believe that this experience has greatly helped me in my role as a governor.  I thoroughly enjoy being part of the school community and always appreciate the welcome I receive when I go into class or join in an activity."
